The traffic pattern at the intersection of Savannah Drive Northwest and Shetland Drive is permanently changing, starting Wednesday, Aug. 4, 2021.

The goal is to create a safer intersection based on traffic flow and the curve of Shetland Drive.

The change will require northbound and southbound traffic on Shetland Drive to stop, and it will remove the intersection's existing stop signs on Savannah Drive.

By switching stop-sign locations, the city seeks to provide better conditions for drivers on the street to see and respond to Savannah Drive traffic.
