Southeastern Minnesota Arts Council has announced an application deadline of Oct. 1 for production assistance grants and small towns/rural areas grants.
Production assistance grants are for organizations planning performances by local artists or organizations, and for administrative assistance for projects that will take place from Dec. 1, 2002, to Nov. 30, 2003. The matching grants have an upper limit of $2,000.
Small towns/rural area grants are for individual artists, ecducational institutions, government units or arts organizations located in towns with a population of 7,500 or less. Performances must take place between Dec. 1, 2002, and Nov. 30, 2003. The matching grants have an upper limit of $3,000.
