First HVL win for L.C.
LAKE CITY — Lake City scored a touchdown with 1:37 left in regulation for the game-winner. Jeff Gay caught a 15-yard pass from Ben Krehbiel for the TD.
The Tigers, who picked up their first conference win (1-4 HVL, 2-5 overall) against winless Cannon Falls, were led by Terence Pettis with 102 yards rushing on 22 carries. Krehbiel had 155 yards pass, with three touchdowns and no interceptions.
Cannon Falls got 194 yards rushing on 36 carries from Wade Gobin.
