Habitat for Humanity taking applications

Rochester Area Habitat for Humanity is accepting applications through Feb. 28 from families that need affordable housing.

The organization provides interest-free, 20-year home mortgages to people who need housing, are able to make payments and are willing to be partners in the process.

Applications may be picked up at Habitat for Humanity, which is in the old fire station at U.S. 52 and Second Street Southwest. The office is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays. Outside of regular office hours, applications are in the mailbox by the front door.
