Hazel R. Paulsen — Kasson

KASSON — Hazel R. Paulsen, 67, of rural Kasson, died of natural causes Friday (May 18, 2007) at her residence.

Hazel Rosetta Stewart was born Oct. 23, 1939, in Wasioja. She graduated from Dodge Center High School in 1957.

She was in the Air Force, and upon leaving the service did secretarial work in Arlington Heights, Ill., along with bookkeeping work for her husband’s construction business. She married Walter O. Paulsen on Oct. 11, 1976. In retirement they moved to Minnesota for a few years, then to Florida in 1996. Her husband died in August 2005, and she returned to Minnesota in January 2007 to be with family.

Survivors include three sisters, Janette Felger of Byron, Joyce Alberts of rural Mantorville and Ann Wilke of Kasson. Other survivors include many nieces and nephews.
