The store, which is under construction, is one part of a development on 7 acres at the intersection of 31st Avenue Northwest and 41st Street Northwest, near the exit from the IBM campus.
Sather plans to have seven people on staff. "Our whole focus will be to have things that are afforable to everybody," he said. "We'll almost be an outlet. I believe that's a niche not being filled in Rochester."
The development by Jeff Brown and Rick Hexum will also include a 21,000-square-foot, two-story First Federal Bank building, two office buildings and a Waterworks Xpress car wash. PossAbilities of Southern Minnesota will occupy one of the office buildings
COMMERCIAL FLIGHTS: A new commercial building next to the Rochester International Airport is filling with businesses. The building, developed and owned by Lanmark Property Advisors in the 7300 block of Airport View Drive S.W., will soon house a number of businesses, starting with Lanmark's offices.
The firm, spearheaded by Andy Chafoulias, is expected to finish its move today from an office just across the street from the new building.

Take Off Salon hopes to open its doors at 7381 Airport View Drive S.W. by Oct 1, co-owner Katie Roche said. She owns it with Carla Broste. It will offer hair and nail services and massages. Roche expects to have 13 people on staff.
Take Off will share its 3,100-square-foot space with Sunplace Tanning Studios, which is opening its fourth Rochester location. Sunplace general manager Trisha Miller expects to open Oct. 15.
The Hangar Bar and Grill, another Chafoulias project, will open a small deli-version of itself –; Hangar Bar and Grill Express –; in the building in mid-October, offering sandwichs and salads, Hangar manager Sean Melancon said.
Minnesota License Bureau owner Molly Malone Hintz said her business will move from the Sleep Inn and Suites motel, another Chafoulias business, in the building by late October.
STAR BRIGHT: HomStar USA, a national mortage/real estate company, folded its Rochester office into Dan Fitzpatrick's Fitzpatrick Real Estate business last week. Fitzpatrick is moving the business, along with Fitzpatrick Construction, to a 2,600-square-foot office at 3125 Wellner Lane N.E., next to Andy's Liquors.
