A long-time Rochester law firm is adding a new attorney to its team.

Wendland Utz, a downtown firm with roots that date back to 1957, recently announced the addition of Courtney Sebo Savica to its organization.

Sebo Savica, a Rochester native, joined the firm as a senior attorney to focus on litigation, estate planning and probate for companies and individuals.

Before joining Wendland Utz, she ran her own solo law practice in the Twin Cities.

Prior to that, Sebo Savica worked at an insurance-defense firm in litigation and at a small firm representing governmental entities. She is also an adjunct professor for the Mitchell Hamline School of Law in St. Paul.

Sebo Savica joins partners Mark Utz and Chris Wendland in the firm. John Abress is also an associate attorney.
