A northwest Rochester office complex was sold to a new owner from Oronoco for $1.85 million last week.

The complex at 2227 Seventh St. NW, which houses the Weis Builders' Rochester offices, was purchased by AGI Properties of Oronoco LLC on July 11.

AGI bought the 13,300-square-foot building from MF Holdings of Minneapolis.

The total market value of the 41-year-old building and its large acreage was estimated at $1.26 million for 2019-2019 by Olmsted County.

AGI Properties, the new owner of the center, is led by Alan G. Ihde. and is based at 1000 South Minnesota Ave. in Oronoco.

That's also the address for the Advanced Building Center.

Biz buzz

A new project is in the works for Rochester's "Uptown" neighborhood along Second Street Southwest.

I should have more on this soon.
