RUSHFORD -- The funeral for Helen Hoff, 90, of Rushford will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Rushford Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Roger Michaelson officiating. Burial will be in the Rushford Lutheran Cemetery.
Mrs. Hoff died Friday (July 7, 2006) in Good Shepherd Lutheran Home in Rushford.
Helen Tudahl was born May 2, 1916, in Peterson and grew up there. She was confirmed at Highland Prairie Lutheran Church in rural Peterson, and married James R. Hoff at Highland Prairie Lutheran on May 2, 1935. She enjoyed baking and making strawberry jam. She was a member of the Rushford Lutheran Church and the local garden club.
Survivors include one son, James L. (Lori) Hoff of Wabasha; one daughter, Lois (Kent) Finanger of Decorah, Iowa; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, one granddaughter, three brothers and four sisters.
Friends may call an hour before the service Friday at the church. Hoff Family Funeral Homes is in charge of arrangements.
