RED WING -- Private family burial for Helen Mary Ann Monson, 76, of Red Wing, will be in Pine Glen Cemetery, Prescott, Wis., at a later date.
She died Saturday (July 8, 2006) at Red Wing Health Center. Helen Mausolf was born on Sept. 10, 1929, in Prescott. She was a graduate of Prescott High School. She worked as a nanny prior to her marriage to Harold Monson on Sept. 2, 1961, in St. Paul. They lived in St. Paul until moving to Red Wing in 1974. He died on Sept. 14, 1975. She worked as a housekeeper in private homes in Red Wing and was a member of Christ Episcopal Church.
Survivors include her sister, Naomi Lenway of Red Wing.
Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel is handling arrangements.
