Baseball
• Pine Island’s Corey Sobeck and Travis Landrum both hit solo home runs over the 315 sign in left field at Goodhue in P.I.’s 5-2 win.
• Dover-Eyota’s Cody Allen pitched a four-hit complete game with 13 strikeouts and one walk in the Eagles’ 7-2 win over Rushford-Peterson in the first game of a doubleheader. In the two games combined, D-E’s Eric Dubbels went 5-for-5 with 3 RBIs, including the game-winning RBI in the second game with the bases loaded in the bottom of the seventh. D-E won the nightcap, 3-2.
• Ben Buehler went 2-for-4 with a double and scored two runs for Lewiston-Altura in the Cardinals’ 4-2 win over Fillmore Central. For Fillmore, Riley Bahl was 3-for-4, and Levi Olstad hit a solo home run.
• Chris Sill smacked a three-run home run in the first inning and went 2-for-4 to help Wabasha-Kellogg to a 15-9 win over Chatfield in a Three Rivers Conference game. W-K improved to 6-0. For Chatfield, Phil Bray went 4-for-5.

• Matt Smith went 2-for-2 with a double and drove in three runs for Stewartville in the Tigers’ 10-3 win over visiting Kasson-Mantorville.
Softball
• Laura Berktold was 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBIs in Lake City’s 5-2 win over Stewartville.
• Cassie Gran hit a home run and drove in three runs, and pitched five innings of two-hit ball to lead Spring Grove/Caledonia to a 11-1 victory over Lyle/Austin Pacelli.
• Pine Island pitcher Kallie McNallan pitched seven complete innings, scattered five hits, and had eight strikeouts and no walks as the Panthers won 5-3 at Cannon Falls.
• Erin Abbott belted a two-run home run in the first inning and pitched a two-hit shutout as St. Charles beat Dover-Eyota 4-0.
• Felicia Meyer struck out 17 batters and walked just one, and allowed just two hits in guiding Hope Lutheran to a 9-1 win over Fillmore Central.
• Houston pitcher Callie Schneider tossed a 2-hit shutout with 13 strikeouts and one walk as the Hurricanes beat Byron 4-0 in a non-conference game.

Girls golf
• Kari Budnik shot a 92 to pace John Marshall to a 397-414 Big Nine Conference win over Mayo.
Boys golf
• Brock Kase shot 73 on the par-70 Oak Summit to pace Mayo in a 313-343 win over John Marshall.
• Caledonia/Spring Grove senior Alek Eglinton scored a 1-under par 35 at the Ma-Cal-Grove Country Club in Caledonia, leading four CSG golfers with scores in the 30’s. It was a career-low score for Eglinton in high school competition. CSG beat Kingsland, 151-179.
Tennis
• The Mayo third doubles team of Jon Juhn and Alex Olsen won its match, 6-4, 6-2 against Edina. But Edina, the No. 1-ranked team in Class AA, won the match, 6-1.
