By Post-Bulletin staff

HOUSTON — The Lyle/Austin Pacelli softball team couldn't get a hit in Tuesday's 17-0 loss to the Houston Hurricanes.

Audrey Ferris reached base on error and stole second base for the only offensive highlight by the visiting Lyle/Pacelli Athletics in this Southeast Conference game. Whitney Wieser pitched five innings for the win

"In all the years I've coached, we've never played well on this field," L/P coach Denny Bray said of the conference loss on the diamond at Houston High School.

Lyle/Pacelli (0-7, 0-6 SEC) plays Hope Lutheran at home on Monday.
