Ice Hawks shut out Northern Lights

Aaron Soderlund got a goal and two assists in the Minnesota Ice Hawks' 4-0 win Sunday over Twin Cities Northern Lights.

Mike Christiansen got Minnesota's first goal, assisted by Soderlund and Brett Burgau. Chris Spracklen got the second, assisted by Thor Josefson and Soderlund.

Two players from Austin teamed up for the final Ice Hawks goal -- Cole Hughes scored, with Brad Wiechmann assisting.

Ice Hawks goalie Joey Spracklin made 30 saves.

First-place Minnesota plays host to the second-place Dubuque Thunderbirds at 7:05 p.m. Wednesday at the Rochester Recreation Center.
