There was 37-year-old Steve Kerr, who can't jump or run and looks more like your checkout boy at the grocery store, coming off the bench in the fourth quarter to nail four three-pointers to lead the Spurs past the Mavericks and into the NBA finals.
Kerr had played only 13 minutes in the series and hadn't scored a single point, but he came through when it counted most. Steve Kerr is at the end of his career. He's not the player you'd expect to carry his team. But he did. And it was great to see.
