The Indian community in Rochester will celebrate Diwali, the Festival of Lights, with an event Oct. 24 at Radisson Plaza Hotel.
The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. with hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar followed by an Indian buffet dinner at 6:15 p.m. The festivities continue until 10 p.m. with a dance featuring Twin Cities DJ Dilip Patel.
Tickets are $35 for adults, $20 for youths ages 12 to 17, and $10 for children younger than 12. A children's menu will be available.
