Travis Walker won’t be boxing in Rochester on Saturday.
Walker, the ninth-ranked heavyweight in the world in the WBC, was injured in a one-car accident Wednesday night on U.S. 52 in Goodhue County.
He injured his shoulder in the accident, in which a blown tire caused the driver, Cicely Clary of St. Paul, to lose control of the 1998 Mercury Mountaineer. The vehicle, which had been northbound, entered the median and rolled across the southbound lane.

Walker was reportedly wearing a seat belt.
The native of Tallahassee, Fla., has been training in Rochester for more than a week for a fight at Graham Arena on Saturday against Earl Ladson as part of the "Spring Sting" card. Walker was to take a 27-1-1 record into the bout against Ladson (13-18-1).
Walker has said he will appear at the boxing event Saturday as a spectator.
Walker was reportedly in line for a major bout this summer, and Saturday’s fight was considered a tuneup for that.
