ROCHESTER — James K. "Jim" Carlson, 62, of Rochester died April 15, 2008.
He was born July 4, 1945, in Albert Lea. He was a Vietnam veteran, serving in the U.S. Navy from 1964 to 1970. He last served on the U.S.S Fox.
Survivors include two sons, Dana Carlson of Minneapolis and Kristopher (Tracy) Carlson of Minneapolis; a daughter, Deya (Craig) Stanley of Minneapolis; his mother, Ardella Olson of New Richland; three brothers, Richard of New Richland, Minn., Eugene of Hudson, Wis., and Steve of New Richland; a sister, LaVonne of Wisconsin; and six grandchildren.
Burial was Tuesday (April 22, 2008) at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
