All good things must come to an end. Fans of Megan McCafferty’s Jessica Darling series, which began with "Sloppy Firsts" in 2001, are now coping with that wise old adage as the fifth and last novel in the series, "Perfect Fifths," ($22, Crown) has just been released.
Continuing to follow Darling’s life (she’s now 26 in the novel), "Perfect Fifths" shows her jetting off to be Ministress of Ceremonies at her friend’s wedding. The book will serve as a bittersweet conclusion, finding Jessica Darling and Marcus Flutie reunited (or are they?) again after she turned down his marriage proposal three years ago.
