Jessie Austenson -- Lanesboro

LANESBORO -- Graveside services for Jessie Austenson will be 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Newberg Methodist Church Cemetery, with the Pastor Beth Perez officiating.

Mrs. Austenson, 90, of Lanesboro, died Friday (June 21, 2006) at Preston Good Samaritan Center, where she lived since 1995.

Jessie Johnsond was born April 7, 1916, in Mabel. She graduated from Canton High School and attended cosmetology school in Minneapolis. She lived in Lanesboro from 1979 to 1995 and then moved to the Good Samaritan Center. Austenson was the owner and operator of a beauty shop. She was married to Joseph Landsverk and later married Al Austenson. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Lanesboro. She loved reading her Bible and enjoyed cats and dogs.

There are no immediate survivors. She was preceded in death by two husbands.

Johnson-Riley Funeral Home in Lanesboro is handling the arrangements.
