JM, Century join for orchestra concert

The John Marshall and Century high school orchestras will join forces in a free concert tonight at JM's Ilstrup Auditorium.

Beginning at 7:30 p.m., the orchestras will perform works by Johann Sebastian Bach and George Frideric Handel, music from the movies "Mission Impossible" and "Titanic," and contemporary string orchestra literature.

The ensemble is directed by Kerstin Suby of John Marshall and Julie Workman of Century.
