Johnson is new Mitchell County Youth Coordinator

OSAGE, Iowa — The Mitchell County Extension Council and Iowa State University Extension and Outreach are pleased to announce the hiring of Abbie Johnson as the Mitchell County 4-H County Youth Coordinator.

OSAGE — Abbie Johnson is the new the Mitchell County 4-H County Youth Coordinator.

Johnson began work on Sept. 24. As coordinator, her primary duties are program planning and implementation of the 4-H Youth Development program.

Working with the 4-H program, she will be involved and focused on positive youth development, which will include working with and supporting volunteers, the county youth council, 4-H youth committee and other project committees.

Johnson is originally from St. Ansgar and was a member of the Newburg Achievers 4-H club for nine years . She graduated from Iowa State University with a master's degree in ag education.
