ROCHESTER -- The funeral for Judith A. Gustine will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Ranfranz &; Vine Funeral Homes, with the Rev. Bruce Buller officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Gustine, 59, of Rochester, a retired nurses' aide, died Tuesday (Jan. 11, 2005) at Saint Marys Hospital.
Judith Ann Ableitner was born Nov. 4, 1945, in Wabasha and grew up in Plainview and Wabasha. Following graduation from Wabasha High School in 1963, she moved to Rochester and was a nurses' aide at Rochester State Hospital. After the hospital closed, she continued working as a nurses' aide in group homes until retiring in 2000 due to health reasons. On Dec. 6, 1975, she married David W. Gustine in Rochester. He died in August 2004.
Survivors include a brother, Jim (Luella) Ableitner of Farmington, Minn. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.
Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and an hour before the service Friday at the funeral home.
