ROCHESTER — A memorial service for Kaye V. Johnston will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Christ United Methodist Church Chapel in Rochester, with the Rev. David Mead officiating.
Mrs. Johnston, 53, of Tigard, Ore., formerly of Rochester, died Thursday (Oct. 11, 2007) at Hopewell House Hospice in Portland, Ore.
Kaye Bethke was born July 22, 1954, in Rochester. She graduated from John Marshall High School and moved to Phoenix, Ariz. On May 25, 1997, she married Dave Johnston. They moved to Tigard, Ore.
Survivors include her husband and step-son, Kevin, both of Tigard; her father and stepmother, Lester and Wanda Bethke of Rochester; four sisters, Korlee (Gary) Witzel of Menomonie, Wis., Corrine (Gary) Fiksdal of Rochester, Dee (Glen) Hammel of Rochester and Darla (Rick) Schultz of Owatonna; two step-sisters, Diane Hannenberger and Donna Wilkerson. She was preceded in death by her mother and three sisters.
