The Rochester Kennel Club will serve as host to more than 1,000 dogs during its fall show this weekend at the Olmsted County Fairgrounds.
Organizers said the show is an ideal opportunity to see more than 100 breeds, meet with breeders from across the region and gather information on dog activities.
The show runs Saturday and Sunday, starting at 8 a.m. both days.
Daily shows are held in Graham Arena North and Graham Arena East until the afternoon, when the best-in-show is chosen through competitive elimination.
There is a cost to attend. Children must be escorted by an adult. Strollers are prohibited from the show. Handicap vehicles are allowed inside the buildings. Most viewing is from standing-only areas.
