Kenneth A. Ramage -- Rochester

ROCHESTER -- The memorial service for Kenneth A. Ramage will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Christ United Methodist Church in Rochester, with the Rev. Dr. Carol Hepokoski officiating.

Mr. Ramage, 18, of Rochester, died Wednesday (July 26, 2006) at Saint Marys Hospital following an accident.

He was born Feb. 11, 1988, in Rochester and graduated from Mayo High School in 2006. While in high school, he played the clarinet in band and received the Heart of the Band Award his senior year. He was active in drama and participated in all of the school's choirs. An active Boy Scout, he received the Order of the Arrow Award. He was selected for Vigil Honors within the Order of the Arrow Active. He volunteered for political campaigns and for Community Food Response. He was preparing to attend North Dakota State University this fall to study emergency management.

Survivors include his parents, Timothy and Sandra of Rochester; a brother, Christopher Ian of Rochester; a sister, Kathryn Laura of Rochester; and his paternal grandparents, Thomas and Barbara Ramage of Tucson, Ariz.

Friends may call from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at First Unitarian Unversalist Church in Rochester.


The family prefers memorials to donor's choice.
