RED WING — The funeral for Kenneth C. Kull will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Red Wing, with the Rev. Loren Lucht officiating. Burial with military honors will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Red Wing.
Mr. Kull, 79, of Red Wing, died Wednesday (April 23, 2008) at Fairview Seminary Home.
Kenneth Clarence Kull was born Dec. 24, 1928, in Red Wing, and was a 1946 graduate of Red Wing Central High School. He attended St. John’s University for a year, then began working at Red Wing Shoe Co. He married Marion Johnson at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Red Wing on July 1, 1950.
Mr. Kull joined the Army National Guard and served in the Korean War. He received a Purple Heart and was honorably discharged on April 30, 1953. Following his service, he returned to Red Wing Shoe, where he worked a total of 44 years. He retired in 1988.
He is survived by his wife; a son, Larry (Debbie) of Red Wing; a daughter, Wendy (William) Amundson of Red Wing; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel in Red Wing, and an hour before the service Monday at the church.
Memorials are preferred to St. John’s Lutheran Church.
