5 shot dead outside hotel
Police and witnesses say a shootout outside a Holiday Inn in Kenya’s capital has killed five people.
Charles Owino, deputy spokesman for the Kenyan police, says two of those killed were hotel employees who were caught in the crossfire. But a witness, John Wanyonyi, says the two worked at a casino next door.
Owino says the other victims were suspected robbers.
A man who answered the phone at the Holiday Inn would not comment.
