Kenyon man sufferers non-life threatening injuries in Rice County crash

The 50-year-old man was taken by ambulance to a hospital in Northfield.

NORTHFIELD, Minn. -- A 50-year-old Kenyon man was injured early Tuesday morning after he lost control of his motorcycle and ended up in a ditch.

The Minnesota State Patrol, the Rice County Sheriff's Office and Northfield Ambulance were called about 4:40 a.m. Tuesday, June 15, to Highway 246 at milepost 6 in Northfield Township for a report of a motorcycle crash.

A2009 Yamaha Touring Motorcycle driven by John Gilbert Cramer was westbound on Highway 246 when Cramer lost control and went into a ditch.

Cramer, who was wearing a helmet, suffered non-life threatening injuries, according to the Minnesota State Patrol crash report.
