WINONA -- A La Crescent man faces four drug-related charges in Winona District Court after allegedly selling cocaine to a police informant.
Donald W. Schmanski, 53, was charged March 11 with one count of first-degree controlled substance crime, two second-degree controlled substance crimes and one third-degree controlled substance crime.
The complaint alleges an informant told police that Schmanski was selling cocaine. The informant made a controlled buy March 8. When police tried to arrest Schmanski, he ran but was caught.
