Lack of interest cancels film festival

A film festival that was to show the works of local student filmmakers has been canceled because not enough films were received.

The Richard Q. Barnes Film Festival was planned for Saturday at Century High School. The festival committee made the decision Monday.

The festival was advertised on posters at Rochester-area businesses. Organizers plan to remove posters as soon as possible.
