ST. CHARLES -- A memorial service for Leonard D. Holtegaard will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the St. Charles Moose Lodge.
Mr. Holtegaard, 51, of Pierce, Neb., formerly of St. Charles, died of natural causes April 20, 2004, at his home.
Born July 30, 1952, in Winona, he grew up in St. Charles, graduated from St. Charles High School in 1970 and served with the Army in Vietnam. On July 15, 1972, he married Diane Graf, and they were later divorced. Mr. Holtegaard had worked as an ag specialist and later was a manager at Battle Creek Co-op in Pierce.
Survivors include a son, Leonard (Tad) of Rochester; a daughter, Krista Holtegaard of Rochester; three grandchildren; and a sister, Sharon (Jim) Speth of St. Charles. His parents and a sister preceded him in death.
