Having had the honor of serving on Mayor Chuck Canfield's Advisory Committee on Neighborhoods in the past, I was able to witness firsthand his commitment to the safety of our community through neighborhood involvement.
He was supportive of resolving many matters pertaining to neighborhoods, from street parking or disorderly housing issues, that were brought before the Rochester City Council. He faithfully attends the neighborhood association meetings.
As has been reported, community crime is down, and through his continued involvement with law enforcement, Building and Safety, and other branches of our city government, I envision an even safer city for the residents of Rochester and the many visitors to the Mayo Clinic.
