Leave the geese alone at Silver Lake. If you don't like to be around Silver Lake, go someplace else. If you moved here, the geese were here first. We constantly want to change what was here. There are many other parks and places to roll in the grass with your kids -- try your own backyard.
If I could, I would deliver a truckload of feed a day to "our" geese.
Get a life and get on with it. Get a hobby, a job or do volunteer work and leave well enough alone. Appreciate what is around us in nature, try enjoying it and you could always move where there is something else that will irritate you. Don't get goosed!
