I see in the paper that Carla Nelson does not want the DM&E; to get its loan of $2.5 billion from the government so people can get electric heat, water and everything else that we get from our utilities. In a lot of towns that could save so much.
Yet this state can give a billionaire money to build a ballpark; will we get our tax money back on that? I think not.
So if we are going to give out loans, let's give it to the DM&E.; That way we as taxpayers will be helping someone out. It could even be you, Carla; or someone in your family.
