I was a nursing assistant for almost 20 years and I understand what nursing assistants are going through.
But now I'm a resident in a nursing home. Please, nursing assistants, put yourselves in our place. We don't choose to be in here, but we need your help. Please don't poke fun at us. Don't be in a big hurry when it comes time to feed us. We have feelings, too. Please make sure we are dressed the right way. Put yourselves in our place.
