I wonder what the deal is on gas pricing.
It seems like we are being gouged. I could understand a price increase if it was across the board. It really seems like it's not.
For example, on July 17 the gas price at Kwik Trip in Chatfield was $1.49 per gallon. The Harmony Kwik Trip was $1.39. At the Kwik Trip in Spring Grove, the price was $1.34. I just don't get it. If the price we pay at the pump is connected to the crude price, then I wonder why the price isn't more consistent. I've noticed that the price of gas seems to go up in this area region when it goes down in the Twin Cities and vice versa.
