Alan Guebert writes as an independent farmer making up his own mind, not as an apologist for grain traders, integrators, commodity groups who've lost touch with their roots:or as an apologist for President Bush.
No president should ever be held above criticism. I remember many Guebert columns skewering Clinton-era agricultural and other policies.
