I will vote for Sen. John Kerry because I believe we will be safer with him as president. Other nations will be more likely to cooperate with us when Kerry is president. He will seek international support for the war on terrorism and for winning the peace in Iraq.
We need a true coalition in Iraq and not just a token coalition. In the war on terrorism we need all the friends we can get. John Kerry is a diplomat who can regain respect and friendship for our country. We will still have enemies that must be dealt with but I will feel safer when we are again respected in the United Nations and have stronger alliances with our friends.
In addition, I believe Kerry will pay more attention to the issues of poverty, the environment, the national debt, and justice and equality for all.
