LET Leave the dogs at home

This is in regard to the article concerning dogs attending the Farmers Market.

At the very end of the article, it advised patrons to leave their dog at home or in their vehicle. This is not good advice.

Even when temperatures don't feel warm to us, the inside of a car can heat up very quickly, even if the windows are rolled down somewhat.

Dogs exposed to extreme heat are in danger of brain damage or even death. The better advice was to leave the dogs at home.

There are so many people who don't think when it comes to pet care, and they don't need any misleading advice to make more bad decisions.
