Changing the constitution to discriminate against a small group of citizens is mean-spirited, to say the least. It seems to me that more committed couples and stable households, regardless of gender, can only strengthen our neighborhoods and communities.
I would prefer that our legislators tend to the business of our state, such as education, health care and unemployment. This would benefit all Minnesotans.
