This is in regard to the person who wrote in to say that most people were glad that Congress, etc., were on the side of Terri Schiavo and her family's fight for her life and the life of other disabled folks.
I truly hope that when life-and-death decisions regarding me arise that most people, including Congress, are not consulted on my behalf. I prefer to have my word taken as true and right. No matter if it was a spoken or a written desire. The people who love me will stand by my right to decide no matter how painful it may be for them.
