It was disheartening to see a completely lackluster and utterly uninspired photograph of the Olmsted County Jail standoff take precedence over the vastly more newsworthy account of the emotional homecoming of the soldiers of Bravo Company on the front page of your Labor Day edition.
Quoting the Post-Bulletin, the jail "scene resembled more of an afternoon picnic," while not a single picture accompanied a heartwarming account that certainly deserved the attention of cameras. I know the Post-Bulletin has more than a couple photographers on staff. Did they all take the Labor Day weekend off?
