It's been suggested that, should John Kerry win the presidency, he'll be able to rally allies to assist the U.S. effort in Iraq.
This despite the Kerry campaign's recent criticism of Iraq's interim prime minister Iyad Allawi as nothing more than a U.S. puppet and despite assurances from France and Germany that a change in U.S. leadership won't go far in changing their recalcitrance in offering aid.
So how, exactly, does Kerry propose building alliances in the wake of insulting the existing Iraqi leadership and being gently snubbed by two other nations? Just curious.
