After following the saga of the last Rochester School Board tax levy, I believe it is time for change to come about on the Rochester School Board. Don Williams is a candidate for the Seat 6 on the board. Don's election will help bring about a positive change.
Don can bring honesty, integrity, and communication to a board that has been lacking in these important qualities. In addition, Don holds an master's degree in business administration from the Carlson School of Management and can add an element of fiscal responsibility to an entity that seems to think spending more and more of the taxpayer's money will solve problems.
In this age of financial uncertainty, it is time for the taxpayers to demand value for their tax dollars. I believe Don has the ability to examine the pros and cons of an issue and make decisions regarding school district expenditures using sound judgment and management skills.
