LET Zaffke ideal for new District 30

It was so nice of cartoonist Ed Fischer to bring attention to a very important fact about this fall's election. Lynn Zaffke, a "new face," has won the Republican endorsement for District 30's Senate campaign.

District 30 has new boundaries, which contain portions of Wabasha and Olmsted counties. These boundaries require representation that will work for both the urban and rural citizens.

Lynn Zaffke has worked hard for Rochester in the past, through his involvement in the Republican Party as Olmsted County Republican co-chair and former rural vice chair of Olmsted County. He will continue to work hard for Rochester. Being a small business owner and having a degree in agriculture particularly qualifies him for rural representation.

I know Lynn to be honest and hard working. He is a committed family man and will support the Republican Party Platform. I know he will fight hard to meet the needs of the whole district.
