Lillian Finstuen -- Rochester

ROCHESTER -- There will be a memorial service for Lillian Finstuen at 9 a.m. Saturday at Riverside Trace Health Care and Rehabilitation Center in Rochester. Services were held in California on Nov. 1.

Mrs. Finstuen, 95, of Long Beach, formerly of Rochester and Chatfield, died Oct. 30, 2002, at a Long Beach nursing home.

Lillian Adler was born Oct. 5, 1907, in Oronoco and married Richard Finstuen in 1927 in Rochester. Her husband worked at Rochester Dairy, at the Coast to Coast store in Chatfield and for the Postal Service in California. He died in 1989. Mrs. Finstuen was a homemaker and enjoyed reading.

Survivors include a daughter, Shari Gilster of Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif.; a son, David of Long Beach; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a brother, Roger Glabe of Rochester. A sister preceded her in death.

Memorials are suggested to the Long Beach Public Library or Lakewood First Presbyterian Church in Long Beach.
