GOODHUE -- The funeral for Lisa Marie Beyersdorf will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. John's Lutheran Church in rural Goodhue, with the Rev. Andrew Krause officiating. Burial will be at 4 p.m. Saturday in Mormon Coulee Memorial Park in La Crosse, Wis.
Mrs. Beyersdorf, 40, of rural Goodhue, died Wednesday (Sept.10, 2003) at her home. She had been ill with cancer since 1994.
Lisa Marie Schroeder was born Aug. 25, 1963, in La Crosse and graduated from Central High School in 1981. On July 11, 1981, she married Scott Johnson at Grace Lutheran Church in La Crosse. He died in March 1987. She married Scott Beyersdorf on July 23, 1988, at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church in La Crosse and they moved to Goodhue in July 2001. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in rural Goodhue. She enjoyed shopping, interior decorating and animals.
Survivors include her husband; four daughters, Kristina, Emily, Stephanie and Melanie Beyersdorf, all of Goodhue; two sons, Benjamin and Cody Beyersdorf, both of Goodhue; a granddaughter; her mother, Eileen (Hohlfeld) Schroeder of La Crosse; two brothers, Steven (Lottie) Schroeder and Gordon (Sherrie) Schroeder, both of La Crosse; and two sisters, Linda (Gary) Fossum and Laurie (Randy) Erler, both of La Crosse. She was preceded in death by her father and two brothers.
Friends may call at the church from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and two hours before the service Saturday.
