The Rochester Civil War Round Table will take a look June 12 at how the war influenced the development of a modern economy.

Speaker C.J. Lee will explain how today’s economy developed from a mix of wartime policies, invention, remarkable individuals and ordinary people.

The program is at 7 p.m. at the History Center of Olmsted County, 1195 West Circle Drive SW.
