Second Street Southeast traffic will be reduced to a single lane in each direction near Broadway Avenue starting Monday.

The lane restriction will make room for rebuilding a Rochester Public Utilities manhole, according to Rochester Public Works.

Both lanes of traffic will be shifted to the north side of the street, with westbound traffic using the existing parking lane.

With work slated to start Monday, the traffic adjustment is scheduled to be in place through July 19.

The change joins other closures already in place at Second Street near the Rochester Public Library.
