Lola Ione Bulow -- Austin

AUSTIN -- The funeral for Lola Ione Bulow will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Our Savior's Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Karen Behling officiating. Interment will be in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery in Elkton.

Mrs. Bulow, 87, of Austin, died Monday (May 16, 2005) at Sacred Heart Care Center.

Lola Nemitz was born Aug. 25, 1917, in Jefferson, Minn., and she moved with her family to Austin, where she grew up. On April 21, 1935, she married William Bulow in Austin. She worked as a clerk at Austin Drug and enjoyed quilting, cooking, traveling and volunteering.

Survivors include three daughters, JoEllen Bulow of Austin, Mary Lou (Ronald) Millam of Mesa, Ariz., and Judith Ann Bednar of Faribault, Minn.; one son, William (Jean) of Waterloo, Iowa; 15 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Marion Braybrook of Michigan and Kathleen Heckman of Pennsylvania. She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, one grandson and siblings.

Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday at Worlein Funeral Home in Austin. There will be no reviewal at the church.
